When I recently posted 8 Facts About Using Google, I noted in #8 that Google is not a Necessary Service. In fact, I even hinted that the internet is not a necessary service. I was referring to the grand-scheme of a market-democracy, of course, but this poster in a local campus library caught my eye over the weekend, and I thought that I'd share it. The point of the poster is not only that Google is not the end all of information, but that neither is the internet. Sshh, don't let them know. We might all be out of jobs if you do.
