Mamma.com Announces Deal with Yahoo! Canada
Today, a deal between Mamma.com and Yahoo! Canada whereby Mamma will provide Canadian, geo-targeted traffic to Yahoo. As the press release states:
MONTREAL, QUEBEC -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 02/08/07 -- Mamma.com Inc., (the "Company"), (NASDAQ: MAMA), a leader in Internet search and online advertising, announced an extension to an agreement with Yahoo! Search Marketing, to provide Canadian targeted search traffic to Yahoo! Canada.
The Company aggregates traffic worldwide from both owned Web properties such as Mamma.com, as well as from partners and affiliates. By using intelligent geo-targeting technology, Mamma.com automatically directs its search traffic to appropriate paid link content suppliers companies like Yahoo! for Europe, and Australia, and now, Canada.
