4 Essential Blogging Guidelines
Have you ever wondered just how to sum up just what blogging is all about? Well, David Armano over at Logic + Emotion has pretty much done that in a post called The Four C's of Blogging. Granted, the post isn't anything new, but Dawud over at Healthy Web Design dug it up for us. In any case, the 4 Cs are as follows:
Community:
Are you PARTICIPATING in social media networks or passively READING content?
Content:
Are you writing and including content that YOU are interested in? That other PEOPLE are interested in?
Clarity:
Do you have a clear VISION for your blog? What makes it DIFFERENT and special?
Consistency:
Is your “blog personality” CONSISTENT with who YOU are? Are you offering a consistent EXPERIENCE to your community?
What I find admirable about this perspective is its application. Whether you're trying to educate or coach another on the blogging (as Dawud does), or just trying to conceptualize your own blog and keep it on track, these are four guidelines that can come in really handy.

One thing that I've always enjoyed about David's posts (and this is going to sound cheesy) is that he actually leaves room for the "emotion" side of things in marketing/advertising.
