Lately, I've been kind of excited about the prospect of using a blog as an affiliate marketing tool. After all, the reason that there are about 77 million blogs out there is that a blog is an extremely user friendly publishing platform, and that means that getting repeat visitors is that much more feasible. Besides, blogs are great for SEO, which means that affiliate marketers can increase their organic ranking for otherwise competitive keywords when they either (1) install a blog on their website, or (2) use a standalone blog as a primary affiliate marketing portal. Furthermore, it's possible to monetize even low traffic blogs.
