Thanks for taking the time to give me some link love. The trackback thing has baffled me. I've even discussed it with a Movable Type developer, but we can't seem to isolate the problem. :(

Hi Chris,
I'm not sure why you would consider this meme "spam," but I suppose you're entitled to your opinion.
A good meme, such as this one, can act as great link bait, drive traffic to your blog and teach you a thing or two at the same time. Unless they are started with bad intentions they are very effective.
